1) What are cookies?
Cookies are small text strings that the web sites visited by the user send to his pc (usually the browser), where they are stored before being transmitted a second time to the same sites at the following visit made by the same user. Two macro-categories are identified: “technical” cookies and “profiling” cookies.
This web site uses the so-called “technical” cookies, for the sole purpose of “transmitting a communication over an electronic network, or as strictly necessary for the provider of an explicitly requested service by the user in order to provide it”.
“Technical” cookies can be divided into browsing or session ones, which guarantee the normal navigation and the website use (allowing, for example, a purchase or the authentication for acceding to private areas); analytics cookies, similar to technical ones, if used directly by the web site manager to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and on how they visit the web site; functionality cookies, which allow the user to browse according to a series of selected criteria (for example, the language, the selected products for purchase) in order to improve the service rendered to him.
The use of “technical” cookies (session variables whose values, stored on the computer hard disk, can be deleted. It is also possible to disable cookies by following the instructions provided by the main browsers) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (made up of random numbers generated by the server) and software usage data, which are necessary to enable the safe and efficient site browsing. Session variables (the so called cookies) can avoid the use of IT techniques that are potentially prejudicial to the users’ browsing privacy and do not allow the acquisition of the used personal identification data.
This site uses the so-called “third-party” cookies, intended to receive on their pc, while browsing a site, cookies sent from different websites or web servers. This category includes Google Analytics Cookies, used for statistical purposes in aggregate and anonymous form, to analyse both the user visits and his browsing on the site.

3) How can I disable the cookies?
Most browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.) are set up to accept cookies. However, most browsers allow you to control and even disable cookies through your browser settings. We dare to remind you that the navigation or functional cookies disabling can cause the website malfunctioning and / or the offered service limit.
For your convenience, below the links to the web pages of the main browsers containing instructions on how to delete cookies:
