The Milanese lore in the shape of a bag. The EXTRA MILANO project, curated by Valextra in collaboration with several brands, reinterprets the Milanese style and craftsmanship in six limited-edition mini collections.

Inspiration comes from timeless suggestions and references to past and futuristic visions. Like those of Sunnei and its matryoshka-bags, which we contributed to present through a scenic display with a two-meters high robotic arm. A sort of sci-fi sidekick to show tradition walking arm-in-arm with future, revealing with a continuous up and down movement the matryoshka bags as they get smaller and smaller. In this rainbow of colors and dimensions, Sunnei redefines Valextra’s famous Passepartout model and its versatility. From the bigger size bags, perfect for the weekend, down to the wallets, each bag takes life one inside the other becoming different experiences that can be alternated, combined, and chosen. A bag with infinite possibilities is born and can be discovered in an interlocking puzzle guided by a robotic arm.

Luxurious leather stripes guide the eye along the column of finely created bags, depicting the articulated craftsmanship of a collection that can embrace our everyday life.
